Our Differentiators

Hunter Spearman’s differentiated relationships with a global network of investor decision makers enables us to connect our clients with traditional investors such as private equity funds, life insurance companies, hedge funds, and alternative lenders as well as with an extensive network of non-traditional capital partners such as large family offices, global pension funds and endowments, sovereign wealth funds and strategic investors.

We are one of the few commercial debt brokerages that is not focused on growing a loan servicing portfolio. In fact, we don’t service loans at all. Most of our competitors have this conflict of interest and will steer deals to lenders or investors that will allow them to service the loan or portfolio post-closing. This conflict reduces the potential pool of capital sources and will by nature impair execution. Our conflict-free execution allows us to compete and win against the largest intermediaries on a varying array of capital markets transactions.
Hunter Spearman levels the playing field. We don’t have three layers of management taking a piece of the fee. Because of our lean structure and low overhead, we are able to offer institutional quality service at a fraction of our competitors pricing. Each situation is different, and we collaborate with clients to develop tailored fee arrangements to provide the best value and result.
We have the knowledge, capacity and capital relationships necessary to execute complex financing strategies with certainty of execution. We learn our client's business, its objectives, and its needs. We dedicate ourselves to developing and delivering innovative solutions.
There is no substitute for experience. The experience gained from closing over 1,000 transactions allows us to know where the landmines are hidden. We also have a deep understanding of lender and investor criteria, targets and tolerances. We’ve been in your shoes, our founders have extensive experience as lenders, loan servicers and intermediaries.

Unlike our competition, we won’t shout about it from the mountaintops. We will not advertise your closed transaction or discuss it with any potential clients. We respect our client’s rights to operate confidentially. Additionally, we employ bank-grade IT security and data management technologies that meet ISO-27002 International Data Security Standards.
